L’Étape Slovakia 2026: take a look at the photos
L’Étape Slovakia is not only about the kilometres, climbs and results that unfold on Sunday. It is also about the people, the encounters, the emotions and the moments that together create the atmosphere of the entire weekend. And Saturday at L’Étape Village showed that this atmosphere comes alive long before the riders line up at the start on Sunday morning.
The sixth edition of L’Étape Slovakia by Tour de France brought countless memorable moments throughout the weekend – from the joy of the youngest riders and the shared ride to the team presentation and the final Sunday ceremony.
KIDS RACE: Little riders, big emotions 🚴♀️🚴♂️
Saturday morning belonged to our youngest cyclists. KIDS RACE brought plenty of excitement, smiles and competitive energy to the course.
For some, these may have been their first real racing kilometres; for others, another exciting challenge. But they all had one thing in common – an incredible enthusiasm for riding and enjoying the day on their bikes.
And when the young riders crossed the finish line, there were plenty of smiles, cheers from proud parents and the feeling that every one of them was a winner.
FAMILY RIDE: Riding together and giving back 💛
Saturday’s programme also included the Family Ride – a shared ride for everyone who wanted to enjoy cycling in a slightly different way. At a relaxed pace, without chasing the clock, but with an even greater purpose.
The Family Ride also had a charitable dimension. Together, we supported the Zdravie v Hrsti initiative and showed that when people come together around a good cause, it can become something much bigger than just a shared ride.
Children and adults rode together and enjoyed the kilometres without worrying about who would reach the finish line first. What mattered was that we rode together and for a good cause.
Thank you to everyone who joined the Family Ride and helped make this ride not only full of great atmosphere, but also truly meaningful.

A SATURDAY EVENING FULL OF CYCLING FACES AND STORIES
The Saturday evening programme at L’Étape Village began with the team presentation on the main stage, just as it happens at the Tour de France itself. It also included the presentation of Team Daniel Oss, made up of riders selected in a draw from among our participants who had the unique opportunity to join Daniel on the start line.
The stage also welcomed the event’s main ambassadors and Tour de France legends, including Daniel Oss, brothers Peter and Martin Velits and Ján Svorada. The evening also featured the flag ceremony and the presentation of the elite riders.
Cyclists of different generations, nationalities and levels of experience came together on one stage – from amateur riders to some of the biggest names in cycling.

SUNDAY CEREMONY: Celebrating the fastest 💛
On Sunday, it was time to celebrate the best of the best. The Sunday Ceremony honoured the winners, podium finishers and everyone who earned their place among the top riders.
But it was also a celebration of everyone who took to the start line that day and completed their own personal challenge.
Because at L’Étape, everyone has their own journey. Some fight for seconds, others for a personal best, while for someone else, the biggest achievement is simply making it over that final climb and crossing the finish line.
And every one of them deserves the same applause.
