That's exactly why L'Étape for HER was created – a programme designed to support women on their cycling journey and show them that they never have to face the start line or the race alone.

🚴 Race Buddies: Support Every Kilometre
This year, the Women's Grupetto will once again be part of the RIDE route, accompanied by our Race Buddies in their unmistakable yellow jerseys. You'll find the Women's Grupetto and the Race Buddies in the Challenge start corridorbefore the RIDE start.
Their role isn't to set the pace or judge your performance. They're there to give you confidence, help with minor mechanical issues, answer your questions, and encourage you whenever you need it most.
Whether you're lining up for your very first cycling event or you've already ridden hundreds of kilometres, what matters most is that you enjoy your L'Étape experience.
🩷 A Women's Weekend at L'Étape
L'Étape for HER is about more than just riding a bike. It's about enjoying the entire race weekend and taking home memories that will stay with you long after you cross the finish line.
Throughout the weekend, L'Étape Village will feature activities and special surprises for women. Whether you're coming with friends, your partner, or on your own, you can look forward to a welcoming atmosphere, meeting fellow cyclists, and plenty of reasons to enjoy every moment of the weekend.
As part of the programme, join the Special Women Social Ride – a social ride exclusively for women, taking place on Saturday, 22 August at 3:15 PM. Our Race Buddies will also be joining the ride, giving you the perfect opportunity to meet them and discuss your plan for Sunday's race.
After the ride, at 5:15 PM, the L'Étape for HER project and our Race Buddies will be introduced on the main stage.
Join the other participants, meet fellow female cyclists, and get ready for race day. No pressure, just plenty of smiles, support, and an unforgettable atmosphere.
🚴💜 Join a Special Training Ride with Bratislavské Bohyne
Would you like to get into the L'Étape spirit before race weekend and meet other women who will be lining up at the start?
Join us on Tuesday, 11 August at 5:00 PM (Tyršák) for a special Bratislavské Bohyne training ride, organized in partnership with IMK Organics. All female cyclists are welcome!
