Daniel Oss is heading to L’Étape Slovakia!
Have you ever dreamed of testing yourself—or racing on the same team as someone who spent 15 years setting the pace in the world’s top peloton? At the start of the sixth edition of L’Étape Slovakia, we’ll welcome a very special guest: legendary Italian rider Daniel Oss! And the best part? Four of you will get the chance to ride alongside him as part of the same team.
A classics legend and key teammate of Peter Sagan and Peter Velits
Daniel Oss is a name that carries enormous weight in the world of cycling. The former professional and one of the most popular riders in the peloton competed in the most prestigious WorldTour events throughout his 15-year career. With 12 appearances at monumental spring classics such as Milano–Sanremo, the Tour of Flanders and Paris–Roubaix, he ranks among the most experienced classics specialists in modern cycling.
His Grand Tour record includes 4× Giro d’Italia, 1× Vuelta a España and an incredible 10× Tour de France. As a long-time teammate and key super-domestique, he rode alongside Peter Sagan at the Tour de France seven times, helping him secure the green jersey in 2012, 2018 and 2019. He also worked for Peter Velits in the peloton.
Although he retired from the professional road peloton in 2023, he did not hang up his bike — today, he remains an active and successful gravel rider.

This year, Daniel will line up for the long RACE route and he is launching something special — he is building his own official team for the Team Competition!
There is no need to worry about keeping up with Daniel’s pace on the course. Every team member rides at their own pace and according to their own abilities. The principle is simple: you will become official teammates, your finishing times will be added together after the race and, as a team, you will fight for the best possible position in the team standings!
🎁 How can you join Daniel Oss’s team?
From all registered participants, we will randomly select four riders who will join Daniel’s team directly.
You will give it your all on the course at your own pace. Your final time will be combined with Daniel’s time and the times of your other teammates, and together you will fight for a place on the podium in the Team Competition.
All you need to do is register for the RACE route and you will automatically be entered into the draw!
